VT Coach Pry & Mike Burnop

Brent Pry was officially named Virginia Tech head coach on November 30, 2021. He joined the Hokies after serving the past eight seasons as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Penn State. Pry returns to Blacksburg after working as a defensive graduate assistant for the Hokies from 1995-97 under head coach Frank Beamer and defensive coordinator Bud Foster.

After his time on the field, Hokie Hall of Famer, Mike Burnop began his long career as a Virginia Tech analyst and commentator for the Virginia Tech Radio Network in 1983. Burnop shares his perspective as an announcer, analyst, fan, and true Hokie fan. Mike Burnop played for the Hokies from 1969 through 1972.
