Nate Yetzer, Roanoke College’s Head Wrestling Coach.

Roanoke College Director of Athletics Scott Allison announced the hiring of Nate Yetzer to serve as the College's first Head Wrestling Coach in March of 2020. The Maroons began competition in the Fall of 2021 and Yetzer has brought the program into national limelight already in that brief span. RC has had three wrestlers earn All-American honors and the Maroons won back-to-back Old Dominion Athletic Conference titles in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. 

Yetzer earned State, ODAC and Southeast Region Coach of the Year honors in 2023-24 after leading the Maroons to a third-place finish in a 22-team field at regionals. He helped five wrestlers qualify for national competition and saw two earn All-American accolades in just the third year of varsity status for the program.

A reservation is needed per person and includes a catered dinner. Social time begins at 5:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., with Dinner at 6:00 p.m. and Program starting at 7:00 p.m. Reservations are $22.50 for Members, $28 for Non Members.
