On June 22, Virginia Tech announced the appointment of Brian White as vice president and director of athletics, selecting a nationally-respected leader to help drive the university’s vision for sustained excellence, competitive success and long-term growth in a rapidly evolving era of college athletics.
White brings over two decades of high-level collegiate athletics experience to the Commonwealth following an eight-year stint (2018-26) as vice president and director of athletics at Florida Atlantic.
As vice president and director of athletics, White will oversee Virginia Tech's 22-sport athletics department and lead the university's efforts to compete and thrive in a rapidly evolving collegiate athletics environment.
SPECIAL DAY - MONDAY, December 7, 2026! A reservation is needed per person and includes a catered dinner. Social time begins at 5:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m., with Dinner at 6:15 p.m. and Program starting at 7:00 p.m. Reservations are $22.50 for Members, $28 for Non Members. Parents of student athletes being honored at our meetings are invited to join us for $22.50 per reservation.
Notice: Due to meal guarantees required by the Salem Civic Center, ALL RESERVATIONS must be made online or received by mail prior to 4:00 PM the Friday before our regular meeting. No Walk-Ups and No Pay-At-The-Door will be accepted. Meeting reservations due no later than 4:00 PM, Friday, December 4, 2026.
